Oh so quiet...
Sunday. Time to relax because I bet the next 5 working days will be super loaded with work.
Coke's Crazy Marketing
I like what Coke has been doing recently. They have been thinking out of the box for quite some time. I wonder if it is really out of boredom with traditional mediums or are they hoping to become a pioneer in local advertising? Check out their billboard near TriNoMa. They say its lined up with "tansans" to preserve energy and consume less light in the evening.
I'm also baffled and curious with their current campaign on Caloy, president of Happiness. Why Caloy? Why not use a celebrity instead? I'm actually excited to see what is Coke up to this year..
Amidst all this, I actually applaud Coke for the OFW viral video that circulated around Christmas 2011. Coke sponsored three OFWs who haven't had a chance to go back in the Philippines for a very long time because of work and money, Coke arranged for everything and organized a surprise for the OFW and their families. On a marketing point of view, it was so clever because it mixed advocacy campaign and social media marketing. Naka promote ka na, ikaw pa ang bida.
After being restrained for a while when it comes to my proposed activities, its always refreshing (pardon the pun) to see a project like this. These kinds of campaign remind me to be more creative and think out of the box. My brands are young and I have the opportunity to grow and expand it. Kailangan ko magpapa pansin para pansinin ako ng customers ko. However, I need to temper this creativity and also consider the effectivity of the activities that I propose. After all, that's the bottom line, we spend to earn.

Marketing Seminars for October
A few months ago, I started looking around for seminars that I can sign up with. I discovered that it was pretty hard because not all of the good seminars are well advertised in major websites. However, I found an internet gem in http://www.findphilippineseminars.com/ because it really hooked up premium and free seminars in the metro. What's good is that the organizers they put in their site are legit and have a good record in the industry. Aside from that, I also have a contact in the Philippine Marketing Association who kindly emails me their seminars every month.
So for all marketing people out there who wants to brush up on their skills, try one of these seminars this month ;)

A Little Rehaul
Change is inevitable. And so goes a cliche thought. With this in mind, Im planning to make this room of my world up for a fresh breath of air. Although it has been functional for the last few years, I decided to do a make over. Not a drastic, over the top one, but just enough to keep the sparks going.
So, welcome to my renovated space. This is my special blog for future employers who believe I will be the perfect candidate for their job opening. I tried my best to give you more information about me and my qualifications.
Aside from that, I'll be posting some opinions and interesting articles about marketing.
Thank you for visiting this site and here's hoping for a favorable response from your end.

First Day
This is my professional web space where I can show the cyber world that despite my crazy ramblings, I am a professional and hardworking person. Even though I believe in the adage, "working to live" rather than "living to work", I dedicate myself in every project that i enjoy.
Hope you will like me.
